MUSIC VIDEO! - PLEASE ILLUMINATI (Zeitgeist Rise)
This is the first video I made for DT & The Wizzards.
In March 2011, Derek sent me the audio file of this track from a jam. He thought it would be better with some lyrics. I wrote some lyrics and used "Garage Band" to lay down the vocals. It was a good song.
So, I re-recorded while filming, and made a video for Derek's 40th birthday.
This was a big step in the development of DT & The Wizzards. With this song, and this video we had created a way for me to be in the band even though I live Toronto.
CRANK IT UP!
I feel that PLEASE ILLUMINATI (Zeitgeist Rise) is a good example of the stylistic flexibility of DT & The Wizzards. The Band is proficient in the fundementals of jazz & rock & the blues and a lot of other music and this track, for me, was screaming out for a hip-hop approach to the lyrics.
